About Camp Putnam
Camp Putnam, located on 150 acres of fields and forest in rural New
Braintree, has been serving the children of the Greater Worcester Area
for over 50 years. The emphasis at Camp Putnam is upon providing a safe,
healthy, residential summer camping experience that is affordable for all
families regardless of income. The full fee cost at Camp Putnam for one 6
day summer session is $250.00. During a typical summer, over 95% of all
campers receive financial assistance to help defray the cost. The actual fee
per child is based upon a sliding scale.
Camp Putnam is not a sports camp, a specialty camp nor
a computer camp. We are camp in the truest sense of the word; a place where
kids and staff interact with nature all day, each and every day.
